Safe & Efficient Driving is Key at the CV Operator Show
Last week’s CV Operator Show, held at the NEC in Birmingham attracted commercial vehicle operators from around the world. This year’s format was very different from the CV Show of previous years, with an obvious absence of the larger vehicle manufacturers and a clear focus on services and solutions to help improve operational efficiency of commercial fleets.
CMS SupaTrak exhibited at the three day event and generated a great deal of interest with the fuel saving and vehicle tracking solutions on display for visitors to experience. The new Safer Driving Assistant (SDA) was a popular addition to the CMS SupaTrak portfolio of solutions and grabbed the attention of operators looking to promote safe and fuel efficient driving throughout their fleet.
The CMS SupaTrak stand featured a Scalextric track, with its truck and trailer and white transit van racing around, which caught the eye of many visitors and provoked many a conversation about the challenges faced by fleet managers in attempting to manage and improve their drivers’ behaviour.
Jason Airey, Managing Director commented that “the show has been a real success for us. We have spoken to so many businesses that are looking for ways to promote safer and efficient driving and we have been able to offer them solutions to help them achieve this”.
