If vans are used for personal reasons it is regarded as an employee benefit and both the company and the staff are faced with a significant income tax penalty as a result. Mr Chambers also said that another benefit of SupaTrak was that it deterred staff from finishing work early because they knew their movements could be accounted for at all times.
